The kids have left for camp in Canada, but with no thanks to Qantas who were over an hour late leaving Coffs Harbour resulting in us getting to the Air Canada counter with less than 60 minutes before the plane departure time.
According to the flight status for the kids flight, they have landed in Toronto. Hopefully, sometime in the next couple of days, they will confirm to us that they have arrived safely and have been met by the camp supervisors.
Breaking news....the kids have emailed to say that they have arrived safely in Toronto and been met. Apparently they did not sleep much on the flight.
We are in Sydney and have enjoyed a relaxing day of last minute shopping and an evening in our favourite Sydney hotel, the Sydney Harbour Marriott at Circular Quay.
The only disappointment is that it is raining and this has stopped us from having a couple of training walks. Damn - not!

Day -6 - Decision
Yesterday, Vicki and I decided to book a 35 day walk from St Jean Pied de Port in France, across the Pyrenees, to Santiago de Compostela in Spain - the French Camino.
We therefore leave tomorrow, spend two days in Sydney, travel to France, spend two days in Paris and then start the walk on July 4 - Independence Day - apply named as we will have no kids. The kids will be in summer camp at Camp Wabikon in northern Ontario.
The purpose of this blog is to record our adventure.
